General EEO Compliance

The general principles that are woven through the myriad federal EEO laws can be used to inventory an assessment and hiring process for compliance and to identify areas where improvements or specific refinement are warranted. We can examine any hiring practices for conformance to both legal standards as well as professional standards for psychological and employment testing.

Disparate Impact Analysis

Specific examinations of applicant flow statistics can provide valuable information about how to improve hiring processes. This can include examining specific components of hiring processes to identify which sources of disparate impact might be changed to make a more defensible total hiring process. We can suggest alternative decision models, such as various test banding procedures, that reduce adverse impact while maintaining predictive accuracy.

Test Fairness Analysis

Determining that certain components of a hiring process predict differently for different categories of applicants can inform judicious refinements to reduce these differences. We can conduct these analyses or provide guidance to others charged with this important maintenance process.
