DeGarmo Group offers Fit Interviews to complement its complete line of Fit Index® assessments. You can now use
behavioral interviewing to determine whether applicants will do the job!
Fit interviewing may allow organizations to include a measure of job fit as part of their hiring process who
cannot otherwise utilize our web-based Fit Index® System technology, or who would to supplement Fit Index® report
information using an interview platform to make better informed hiring decisions. That means that managers can
use the Fit Interview™ to specifically probe areas of incompatibility identified though Fit Index® testing!
Our Fit Interview™ system can assist organizations in more reliably and accurately identifying applicants who
are likely to fail based on their incompatibility with various job demands. The emphasis of the Fit Interview™ is
on applicants’ work tolerance by measuring emotional and affective reactions to work.
Design:
- Similar to traditional structured, behaviorally-based interviews.
- Applicants are asked up to three questions for each Work Tolerance dimension.
- Interviewers must have a good "EAR" (event, action, reaction) when documenting responses.
- General evaluative criteria are provided to score applicants’ responses.
