DeGarmo Group's Fit Index® tests contain two types of assessment that when combined can be a powerful
predictor of employee turnover likelihood. Each section is described below.
Work Tolerance
This section measures an applicant’s reactions to work and environmental demands of the target job. It
can identify applicants who are more like to be frustrated or annoyed in having to perform certain job
duties.
Personality
This section measures enduring traits specific to people, such as whether or not one is more stress-tolerant
or dependable. In general, one’s core personality characteristics are stable over time, and do not
change. Thus, these are useful guides for identifying people with better fit for certain jobs.
